By accessing or using the Mastasset platform — including our website at mastasset.com, mobile applications, and any related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mastasset Resources Management Ltd ("Mastasset", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Nigeria. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Mastasset is a digital marketplace platform that facilitates connections between property buyers, sellers, landlords, developers, and verified skilled professionals and artisans across Nigeria. Our services include:
Mastasset acts as a marketplace intermediary. We do not own, sell, or rent any properties listed on the platform, nor do we directly employ any artisan or trade professional listed in our directory.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform. By using Mastasset, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Nigerian law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.
Some features of the platform require registration. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@mastasset.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access due to your failure to keep credentials secure.
Property owners, agents, and developers may submit listings for review. All listings are subject to manual approval by Mastasset before publication. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:
Mastasset reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at its sole discretion, including if it contains false information, violates these Terms, or is reported by users for misconduct. Removal of a listing does not entitle the submitter to any refund of fees paid.
All property transactions — purchases, sales, lease agreements — are conducted directly between buyer and seller/landlord. Mastasset is not a party to any property transaction and accepts no liability for any loss arising from such transactions.
Artisans applying to join the Mastasset directory must submit a valid government-issued ID, guarantor information, and professional background details. All registrations are manually reviewed. Approval does not constitute an employment relationship between Mastasset and the artisan.
Clients may book artisans through the platform by paying a non-refundable booking/consultation fee of ₦2,000. This fee confirms the client's intent and is retained by Mastasset as a facilitation fee. It does not cover the cost of the artisan's services, which are agreed directly between client and artisan.
Mastasset does not manage or supervise the delivery of artisan services. Any contract for services is formed directly between the client and the artisan. Mastasset is not liable for the quality, safety, timeliness, or outcome of services delivered.
Payments on the Mastasset platform are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment service provider. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
Mastasset currently charges the following fees:
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Mastasset does not hold escrow funds or collect payment on behalf of artisans for services rendered. All prices are subject to change with notice.
Mastasset operates the following refund policy:
All approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Refunds are subject to Paystack's processing timelines. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the above conditions.
If you have a dispute with another user (including an artisan or property seller), you should attempt to resolve it directly in the first instance. If resolution is not possible, you may report the dispute to Mastasset via support@mastasset.com or through our Contact page.
Upon receiving a dispute report, Mastasset will:
Mastasset's dispute mediation is advisory and not legally binding. Disputes involving significant sums of money or property title should be referred to a qualified legal professional and, if necessary, the appropriate Nigerian courts.
You agree not to use the Mastasset platform to:
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban, at Mastasset's sole discretion, without refund of any fees paid.
All content on the Mastasset platform — including but not limited to the Mastasset name, logo, design, text, graphics, software, and data — is the property of Mastasset Resources Management Ltd and is protected under Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform (such as property photographs), but by submitting it, you grant Mastasset a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating and marketing the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, Mastasset and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Mastasset's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Mastasset in the three months preceding the claim.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Mastasset may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@mastasset.com.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
